The volatile relationship between Accra Hearts of Oak Legend Charles Taylor and the club seems to be heightening with fans of the club warning the former player not to venture near the club for any event.
But Taylor has insisted he will be at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday when Hearts of Oak oldies face Asante Kotoko oldies
Charles Taylor who is now an evangelist has been at the receiving end of several threats from Hearts of Oak fans for his consistent attacks on the about the club, and will likely be subjected to an attack when he goes to the Accra Sports Stadium.
But speaking to Happy FM this morning, the former Black Stars player insisted he will be at the Accra Sports Stadium tomorrow and don the Hearts of Oak jersey against his former club Asante Kotoko.
“The man threatened to kill me if I come to the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, so I reported the case at Teshie Police Station.
“I will be at the Accra Sports Stadium and I will play for Accra Hearts of Oak against Kotoko on Wednesday. I train with Hearts of Oak all the time so I won’t run away. I shall be there tomorrow.
“I have no problem with Hearts of Oak. What has Hearts of Oak done for me to be grateful to them? Did they build a house for me? He asked,
“I have not insulted anyone so why should Hearts of Oak supporters call me names. I’m not afraid of anybody. I will be at the stadium to play for them whether they give me a jersey or not,” he insisted.
The former Hearts wideman appears bitter about the club in his comments, denigrating the club anytime he speaks in the media insisting he wasted his time with the rainbow family.
