Ghana coach Avram Grant has chosen to stay off the despicable marital affairs of one of his players Afriyie Acquah.
Acquah’s wife Amanda has been heard on a leaked tape alleging extra marital affairs with Jordan Ayew.
Acquah has deleted pictures of himself and his beleaguered wife on his Instagram page after the tape went viral.
Amanda in the audio tape was heard describing her husband as a “Monkey” going on to reveal to her friend the 23-year-old was impotent.
Football pundits are pushing for the expulsion of Acquah and Jordan from the team ahead of their game against Rwanda, but Grant included them in his 24-man squad.
He said the controversy surrounding Acquah’s relationship is private and he will not wade into it.
“How many people do we know in the rest room? I am sure everybody has different opinion so people can say whatever they want, this is completely internal subject that I won’t discuss.”
“It is not football!” the former Chelsea boss told Asempa FM.
