Ignore circulating grade structure - CLOGSAG

Accra, Sept. 19, GNA – The Executive Committee of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) on Monday asked members to ignore a grade structure for migrating civil and local government staff onto the Single Spine Salary Structure in circulation.

A statement signed by Mr Isaac Bampoe Addo, Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG, urged members to ignore the information as neither the National Executive Committee nor the National Secretariat of CLOGSAG had issued or published any grade structure.

“CLOGSAG, as a responsible Association, would not circulate any structure while negotiations are in progress,” the statement said, and warned those circulating the false structure to stop since CLOGSAG would not hesitate to deal drastically with anyone involved or served as a conduit for the dissemination of such information.

The statement urged members to remain resolute and firm while the National Executive continued discussions on the process of migrating members onto the Structure.
