Information Ministry to organize Ashanti Region Town Hall meeting on November12

The Ministry of Information and the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council will, on Tuesday, November 12, jointly organise the Ashanti Regional Town Hall meeting to inform the citizenry about government programmes and policies.

The event would also feature presentations on taxes, infrastructure and mining, as well as other flagship initiatives of the government and solicit feedback from the people.

The meeting would be under the patronage of Ashantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II, and would be chaired by Baffour Owusu Amankwatia VI, Bantamahene at the Centre for National Culture, Kumasi, at 0900 hours on Tuesday, November 12.

A statement issued and signed by Mr Pius Edam Hadzide, a Deputy Minister of Information, in Accra, said there would be evidenced-based presentations on key developmental projects by all the 43 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies in the region.

The Information Services Department would also mount a photo exhibition of the several flagship projects embarked upon by the government since assuming the reins of government in 2017.
