Integrity Magazine has presented an amount of GH¢ 25,910.00 to the Princess Marie Children’s Hospital as part of a fulfilment of the pledges made by the guests at 'Glad Tidings'.
A statement signed by Rev. Kennedy Okosun Publisher/Editor-In-Chief of the magazine and copied to the Ghana News Agency said the donation was realised from pledges guests who attended the maiden carols night dubbed: ‘Glad Tidings 2018’in December 2018 made to raise funds to support the Princess Marie Louis Children’s Hospital in Accra.
It said an amount of GH¢7,339.00 and $300 was raised to support the hospital whilst some of the guests also made monthly and annually pledges to augment Integrity Magazine’s effort.
It said Dr. Maame Ama Nyarko, the Administrator of the Hospital who received the money and cheques on behalf of the hospital commended the Integrity Magazine team for their selfless support towards the children’s hospital.
Elizabeth Hayfron-Asare, the Editor of the integrity Magazine assured the Hospital of Krif Media’s team regular visit to the hospital to offer assistance.
"In all, Integrity Magazine through the help of the guests at the event have been able to raise a total of GH¢ 33,249.00 and $300 as funds to support the children’s hospital," the statement added.
Integrity Magazine is a bi-monthly publication that borders on good Governance-Leadership and Development to educate, inform and entertain its audience across the country.
As part of the activities slated to set the pace for the official launching of the magazine, management has rolled out a number of events that Integrity Magazine has and will embark on for which Glad Tiding is part.
Integrity Magazine will organize Business Breakfast Meeting (on 16th Apria), Health Walk (27th April) and Roundtable Discussion (30th April 2019), and the second edition of the Glad Tidings 2019 will also come off in December on monthly basis.
