There was some confrontation on Good Morning Ghana on Metro TV as the host, Randy Abbey, introduced the panelists, including Isaac Adongo, the Ranking Member of the Finance Committee of Parliament; and Gideon Boako, the spokesperson for Dr. Bawumia and a representative of the NPP.
The tension was palpable as Adongo directly addressed Boako, demanding an apology for derogatory comments he claimed the NPP man made three years ago that had to do with Ghana Amalgamated Trust Plc.
Adongo insisted that Boako had used unprintable language against him and was now overdue in making amends as everything he said about it had come to pass.
Gideon Boako responded by denying any recollection of the incident and asserting that he did not engage in using such language in his political career.
He acknowledged the request for an apology but dismissed it as unfounded.

“If it is truly brought to my knowledge and I realise that I did something wrong against Isaac Adongo, what’s the point in holding onto it? As far as I remember, I did not use unprintable words against him,” Boako said.
Adongo countered, stating, “I can produce a video of Gideon not attending an advertised program on Joy News. He was aware of it and did not show up. Regarding Bawumia, he knows that I have never made any statements that are not factual. He cannot challenge me on anything I have said that is not factual.”
Gideon Boako then stated that Isaac Adongo is fond of attacking Dr Bawumia at the least opportunity.
The exchange became increasingly heated, with Boako accusing Adongo of starting conversations with attacks on Bawumia.
Amid the escalating argument, Randy Abbey intervened, urging the panelists to shift the discussions away from the contentious issue.
