An Independent Aspiring Member of Parliament (MP) for the Damongo Constituency Mr Tiki Dange has said that it is a shame both the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party have not been able to provide Drinking Water for the people of Damongo since the past thirty (30) years.
Mr Tiki Dange made these comments after he donated face masks to Residents of Damongo for the second time.
Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi FM, Mr Tiki bemoaned the Water situation in Damongo saying “Water is a basic necessity but it is surprising the two major political parties cannot provide it.
Further speaking in proverbs, the Independent MP aspirant said;
“We carried water and we carried Akpeteshie and know the weight of each”. He added; “A Buffalo cannot lead Lions because lions are led by Lions and this is the reason I want to be the MP for Damongo on an Independent ticket”.
Mr Tiki said there has never been an Independent candidate in the Damongo Constituency and that he needs to be given the chance more especially considering the divisive NPP and NDC politics of Damongo Constituency.
