Teen sensation Tariq Lamptey has expressed excitement after making his debut for English giants Chelsea in their derby victory against Arsenal.
The 19-year old replaced Fikayo Tomori in the second half and impressed significantly as the Blues rallied from a goal down to beat their London rivals.
The English born Ghanaian disclosed 'he and his family have been waiting for the moment.'
"My heart was racing," he told Blues TV. "I was thing this was the moment me and my family have been waiting for," he added.
"Ever since I joined the club at the age of 8.
"Frank told me just go out there and do you, just enjoy the game."
Lamptey enjoyed his debut, making some good runs from the right back position and was solid defensively.
"I have waited for a very long time for my debut and I am very grateful for the coach for giving me the chance and everyone who helped me," said the 19 year old.
"I just felt I'm out here, don't be afraid of anything just play my natural game and everything will come through it."
