Japan Motors and Nissan on Tuesday launched the new Nissan Almera in Accra.
The Almera, also known as the new Sunny, made its world debut in Guangzhou, China, last year.
“The new Nissan Almera is going to dare buyers to open their mind and re-examine their expectations from a car built on the same V-platform as the Nissan Micra.
“The Nissan Almera is big-bodied for a 1,500 capacity car powered by a 4-cylinder petrol engine, horse power of 73 kilowatt and a torque of 134. It is generous, comfortable, spacious, neat and worthy,” said Imad Antoine Ghorayeb, General Manager, Sales of Japan Motors.
He said the Almera has functionality and affordable with a top level fuel efficiency i.e. 16.4 kilometres per litre.
The exterior is energetic and sculptural with muscle power, sleek, sporty and smooth as well as eye power focused headlamp.
The interior comes with audio control on steering wheels, adjustable fan for rear passengers, rear arm-rest, cup holders and spacious trunk of 490 litres space.
Its EBD-electronic force distribution works with brake assist to improve braking performance. ABS-electronically controls hydraulic brake pressure to prevent wheel lock-up and this helps preserve vehicle stability and steering brake system.
Plus, its zone body structure helps minimize damage when a collision is unavoidable.
