Popular member of opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) Stephen Atubiga, has revealed that members of the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP), notably General Secretary John Boadu, National Organiser Sammi Awuku and Deputy Roads Minister Anthony Abayifaa Karbo, have taken girlfriends of NDC members because members of the NDC are in opposition and poor.

Speaking to Okay FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Mr Atubiga lamented how the poverty of being in opposition has deprived them of ladies who used to be at their beck and call when they were in power and had money to spend around

“Now see, when we were in power, we had something in our pockets and we played with the NPP ladies. But now that we are in opposition, Anthony Karbo, John Boadu and Sammy Awuku have taken our girls…They have taken our girls because we have no money” He lamented.

Mr Atubiga was commenting on the marriage between the NDC’s Chief Biney and the NPP’s Afia Akoto, arguing that the marriage does not augur well for the NDC given the sensitive nature of Mr Biney’s position as Deputy National Organiser.

He, therefore, appealed to NDC ladies to avail themselves so that the NDC leadership will not have to marry from the NPP.

“The heartbeat, strength, and strategy of winning 2020 or election for NDC, is in the hands of the national organizer and his deputies. There is no room for family, love or stomach when leading us (NDC) as a national executive for (war) elections while wining and dining with our opponents (enemies). The party is very naked now my people,” He wrote.

“Fear buttocks, my brother. These huge buttocks will make Chief Biney sleep on election day and forget his assignment. If for example, we deploy him in Ashanti Region, by the time he goes, Wontumi has finished us.” Atubiga said on Neat FM.
