Below is the full statement
DID JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA REALLY SPEND 1 MILLION GHANA CEDIS DURING HIS SON'S BIRTHDAY?
Former President John Mahama during his tenure as president described Ghanaians as people with short retentive memories. It is obvious that his thinking about Ghanaians haven't changed and he still holds the idea that Ghanaians are people with low retentive memories and thus, Ghanaians have suddenly forgotten his corrupt activities and bad behaviours.
Not too long ago, we heard this John Mahama crying everywhere that, he's broke and can't even buy food for himself because he hasn't been paid his benefits as a former president including his ex -gratia and for that matter, he's only depending on his wife for survival.
John Mahama was later exposed by the Chief of Staff with documentary evidence to rubbish his claims.
It's been less than 3 months now since Mahama was crying over hardships but I just heard he has spent over $156,000 on his son.
President Mahama bought for his son on his Birthday a Range Rover wealth over $100,000 and a Mercedes Benz SLK costing over $56,000.
After all these huge expenditures by John Mahama, he will later go and cry to his "NDC foot soldiers" that, he is poor and that, the Akufo-Addo administration is ill-treating him. He further tells them that, the economy is very porous and that, he (Mahama) is even being catered for by his wife Lordina.
Granted but not admitted that, the economy is porous, where did Mahama raise this huge amount from?
Does Mahama think we still have short retentive memories? Does he think we have forgotten so soon that he was crying over hunger and ill-treatment?
I would like to ask the NDC members who move from one radio stations to another chanting the come back of Mahama the following questions;
2. Were they employed by Mahama?
3. Were they able to pay their wards fees during Mahama's tenure?
1. Were they able to pay their electricity bills during Mahama's tenure?
2. Were they employed by Mahama?
3. Were they able to pay their wards fees during Mahama's tenure?
4. Haven't any of their Family members, religious members and other colleagues benefitted from President Akufo-Addo's policies especially Free SHS?
Just in case the Mahama and NDC footsoldiers do not know, the Money Mahama spent on his son's birthday alone could have helped solved the problems of all polling station executives in the party.
If each polling station executive was given GhS 1,000 they would have been able to use it set up a tabletop business either for themselves or any of their relatives and that would have helped curb unemployment in this country.
I want to submit to all and sundry that, looking at the demeanor of Former Prez Mahama, he does not care and think about the well being of his 'NDC fooling' and 'foolish Soldiers' and not to even talk about Ghanaians in general.
I am very sure Mahama treats his NDC comrades as people with short memories and low thinking capacity.
It is about time, the NDC 'fooling' and 'foolish soldiers' open their eyes and know the real Mahama.
Signed!
Kwame Baffoe Abronye
