Jomoro youth asked to form groups

Half Assini (W/R), Oct. 7, GNA - The District Chief Executive for Jomoro, Mr Sylvester Nuamah Dadieh, has advised the youth in the district to form social groups to enable them enjoy the packages outlined in the National Youth Policy. He said this in an address read for him at the dialogue for stakeholders in oil production meeting held at Half Assini in the Western Region.

Half Assini (W/R), Oct. 7, GNA - The District Chief Executive for Jomoro, Mr Sylvester Nuamah Dadieh, has advised the youth in the district to form social groups to enable them enjoy the packages outlined in the National Youth Policy. He said this in an address read for him at the dialogue for stakeholders in oil production meeting held at Half Assini in the Western Region. The meeting under the theme 93empowered youth impacting positively on National Development" was organised by the National Youth authority in collaboration with Youth Empowerment Synergy, Ghana. Forty-eight participants made up of heads of decentralized departments, students, religious organizations and chiefs attended the meeting. Mr Dadieh appealed to the stakeholders of the Domunli Gas Processing Plant Project in the Jomoro District to expedite work on the establishment of the project and thereby help create jobs for the youth in the area. He commended the organisers for creating an enabling environment for interaction amongst the various stakeholders in the district. Mr Kweku Niamey Arthur, Nzema East District Coordinating Director, in his welcoming address appealed to the youth not to allow themselves to be used to ferment troubles in the society.
