Accra, Nov.12, GNA- The National Executive of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) on Wednesday asked former and inactive members of the Association to renew their membership of the Association.
It has also decided to grant an amnesty to all old members in arrears who wish to renew their membership up to December 19. This was contained in a statement issued in Accra and signed by its President Ms Ajoa Yeboah-Afari.
It said the executive decided to waive the dues arrears of past years for those who so request in the spirit of unifying and strengthening the Association.
However, the statement said dues for 2003 would have to be settled in full before the renewal of membership could be granted. The statement said renewal forms were available at the Ghana International Press Centre or through the post. It said those who need forms through the post should address a self-addressed and stamped envelope to the Administrative Assistant at the Centre.
