Judge me by my performance- President Mills

Bolga -- President John Evans Atta Mills has called on Ghanaians to judge him by the performance of his government and draw their own conclusions. ‘’There are people who say, and it’s very unfortunate that they can’t justify their assertions that this government has not done anything since it came to power two years ago. But I want to live you to be the judges to determine whether this is true or not’’ President Mills said.

President Mills called on Ghanaians to remember that government has a four year mandate and also recollect the wobbling economy the Mills administration inherited form the previous administration.

President Mills said ‘’indeed the challenges we met were daunting but we are not discouraged. Let nobody deceive you, any other group of persons may have abandoned their vision but we have stacked in and I can say, we can see light at the end of the tunnel’’.

Addressing students of the Navrongo campus of the University of Development Studies (UDS) when he inaugurated a three million Cedi Assembly hall Complex in the Upper East region as part of the first phase of his regional tour to that region President John Evans Atta Mills stated that, his government is focused and will ensure that it conducts its affaires in a manner that at the end of the four years the people of Ghana will ask Atta Mills and his government to continue with the better Ghana agenda.

He assured the students of his government preparedness to interact with them occasionally on issues that will inure to the benefit of all. He said upon his instruction the Get-FUND has made a special provision for the UDS and that all challenges bedevilling the school are being addressed.

‘’You may be late starters but I can assure you that you will not be the last’’ President Mills said.

President Mills’s tour of the country is to inspect developmental programs and projects and see how far his administration has gone with the better Ghana agenda two years on.
