The Commission of Inquiry established by President John Dramani Mahama, to inquire into Judgement Debt Payments and other related matters would resume public sitting on Monday February 11, 2013.
A statement igned by Mr George William Dove, Public Relations Officer, issued to the Ghana News Agency on Monday in Accra indicated that the Commission would continue sitting on Tuesday February 12 and Wednesday February 13, respectively at the Old Parliament Hose, in Accra.
It said representatives from the Auditor Generals Department, Controller and Accountant General’s Department and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning who had earlier appeared before the Commission would also be expected to provide additional information.
According to the statement, the representatives from the Bank of Ghana would also be making their initial appearance before the Commission, indicating that the sitting would be held at 1000hours each day.
It urged members of the public who wish to testify or volunteer information to first report at the Commission’s office to give their statement, and then the Commission would schedule a date for them to give their evidence.
It said those who intended to testify or volunteer information to the Commission but were unable to be present in person, were requested to submit memoranda to the Commission, saying all such memoranda would be treated confidentially.
