She said the Judicial Service had instituted a mentoring programme for students in High Schools all over the country and held its maiden programme on March 14 last year for five schools from the Upper West Region.
She said the programme was to encourage the youth to be interested in the judiciary, the administration of justice and the legal profession in general and attract the youth to take up appointments on the Bench. Mrs Justice Wood presented a copy of the Judicial Service's annual report to enable the High Commissioner to know about the Judicial System in Ghana.
Ms Lallie said her visit was to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and also to announce her assumption of duty as the South African High Commissioner in Ghana. 7 May 09
