The Jungle Warfare School, which was officially commissioned in November 1976 at Achiase, has assumed greater importance in counter insurgency and jungle warfare exercise due to its excellent terrain. Since its establishment, the school has lived up to its objectives of training officers and men of the GAF in counter insurgency and internal security operations. 7 July 09
