Special aide to former President John Dramani Mahama, Stan Dogbe, has slammed the Board Chairman of Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Paul Adom Otchere, over the worsening situation at the Terminal 3 portion of Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in Accra.
According to him, Mr. Adom Otchere, as a young man in such a position, should have introduced some dynamism to the sector, but he has failed to do so.
"Unfortunately, our airports, especially Terminal 3, continue to be much worse than our 'business as usual' mode."
"I am sure, like many Ghanaian managers, you, your board members, and the GACL management don't use the normal passenger services, nor do you know the lived experiences of passengers, even if through mystery shopping or, in this case, 'passengering'," Mr. Dogbe stated in a Facebook post.

Paul Adom-Otchere, good evening.
Given that you are a young man and have been handed a prestigious position in an important service-oriented business like the Ghana Airports Company Limited, I have been expecting over the years the introduction of some dynamism, innovation, world-class, top-notch, and unequaled service delivery, along with marketing and advertising outlooks that will give users of the various airports a 'reason to return' feeling.
Unfortunately, our airports, especially Terminal 3, continue to be much worse than our 'business as usual' mode. I am sure, like many Ghanaian managers, you, your board members, and the GACL management don't use the normal passenger services, nor do you know the lived experiences of passengers, even if through mystery shopping or, in this case, 'passengering'.
Service offerings, passenger comfort, and experience can be much, much better at Terminal 3 and the other airports, and I can only urge you and your team to bring some value to the business.
