Former CPP General Secretary, James Kwabena Bomfeh, popularly known as 'Kabila', has rejected calls for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Vice President, to start implementing his policies while in government.
Former President and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama and some members of the party have asked Bawumia not to wait to become President before addressing the many challenges bedevilling the nation.
They believe he has the authority to address those challenges now.
Kabila, however, disagrees.
Contributing to a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' he said: "Such a claim is not forward-thinking and I reject it"
