The Minister for Finance and Member of Parliament (MP) for Karaga Constituency, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, has provided support to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Northern Region with logistics.
The aim of this support is to equip the NPP in the Northern Region for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
The donation includes a brand-new Hilux pickup, 10 motorbikes, and an undisclosed cash amount for the operations of the regional communications team of the party.
Additionally, the Karaga Member of Parliament supported 18 constituency organizers, youth organizers, and women organizers with a motorbike each to aid in their mobilization efforts in their respective constituencies.
Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, who is confident that the government has outperformed the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) on economic metrics, is optimistic that they will secure another victory.
He stated that the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) economic performance leaves little for the NDC to boast about in their campaign leading up to the 2024 elections.
During a recent UK Town Hall meeting, the Karaga legislator announced the successful completion of Ghana's debt restructuring program with its official creditors.
The Minister elaborated that the government has effectively restructured its debt of $5.1 billion with these creditors, in addition to finalizing the restructuring of $13.1 billion with Eurobond holders.
