The chiefs, numbering 17 were at the Presidency to commend President Mahama and to pledge their support for him to carry out his constitutional mandate of developing the countries.
The chiefs mentioned the fulfillment of the promise to construct the Kasoa interchange during the 2012 elections campaign, the establishment of the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly with the headquarters at Kasoa and the on-going construction of link roads in the Municipality.
The other projects they mentioned were the upgrading and construction of Kasoa Health Centre into a modern Polyclinic, approval for construction of a senior high school in Kasoa and the approval for the construction of the major road from Kasoa to Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region.
