Police sources told Ghana News Agency that the complainant had been issued with a medical form and was yet to submit the completed form. Explaining his ordeal to GNA Mr Haruna said he went to the market to buy some items and when returning the personnel pounced on him without any provocation and later put him in a pick-up. "I could not believe what was happening to me and did not understand their action because they had only identity cards hanging around their necks".

He said the personnel drove to the offices of Awutu-Senya District Assembly and reported his arrest to their superior officer but did not take any action.
