Opinions varied as scores thronged the Kasoa interchange to witness the commissioning of the first session of the interchange by president John Dramani Mahama.
While some see the project as a worthwhile initiative that will help ease the traffic situation for many who ply the Accra-Cape Coast route, others do not believe that the country will derive the needed benefits from the project.
Many believe the timing of the commissioning by the president suggests a desperate move to garner votes ahead of the December 7 polls.
President Mahama on Tuesday commissioned the first session of the Kasoa interchange as part of a two-day tour of the Central Region. He said the project when complete, would help ease the vehicular traffic for several Ghanaians.
