Ken Agyapong: Joy Fm owner Also Cocaine Dealer

Obviously collapsing under the heavy claims that he is into the deadly cocaine business, media owner and Member of Parliament for Assin North, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has decided not to go down alone, but with others.

In his characteristic radio rants, the MP last Saturday claimed that the camera-shy owner of Multi Media Group comprising of *Joy FM, Adom FM, Asempa FM* and other radio stations scattered in the country, Mr. Kwasi Twum, is also into the illegal drugs business, and warned those behind the radio station, orchestrating an agenda against him to be very careful else he would also disgrace them.

The MP linked Mr. Kwesi Twum, with a certain Jones, whom he described as a cripple who lives in New Jersey in the United Stated of America, and used to work as a shipping agent.

*Giving further details, Mr. Agyapong insisted that the said Jones is a resident of Bronx-New Jersey, on Jerome Avenue-Cross Bros, and dared the host of the programme; Kwabena Bobie Ansah, to go and inquire from Mr. Twum, his boss, about the said Jones, adding that these are but a few clues. *

*He said in Twi language to the host, “Ebi wo wu fie,” to wit, “there is one in your house also,” implying that Kwesi Twum is also a cocaine dealer. *

*He had phoned into the station’s Saturday morning programme dubbed “Kukruntumi” to respond to yet another claims by an NPP activist, by name Kwabena Adjei , that he was a cocaine baron. *

Speaking in Twi mixed with English language, Mr. Agyepong who claimed he was in the Central Regional capital, Cape Coast, at the time to attend the Speech Day of Adisadel College, warned Asempa FM, and suggested that the stations constant progrmmes on narcotic drugs is unbecoming.

He started with a direct attack on the said Kwabena Adjei, saying …. “let me tell him, if he has been sent together by Bature and others; imbeciles like that. I wake up this morning and they want to annoy me. Where does he know me? If he gets my kind in his family wont he be grateful?

“It is politics in Ghana which is cheap, that is why stupid guys like that would do that. But Bobbie, you are the one there… But you, do you know something? Asempa People must be careful, if you do not take care, I will disgrace you all.

I’m giving you one clue, ask your boss; the one who set up Asempa , Joy fm, and others, ask him if he knows Jones, Jones the one in Bronx at New Jersey, he is physically challenged that is what I have to say today”.

“Every day you sit there and mention drugs, drugs, drugs, drugs. I have challenged you; go and ask your boss that I, Kennedy, I asked does he know Jones, he is a shipping agent.

“Go and ask, if you will sit there and tarnish the hard-earned reputation of people who have worked so tirelessly to make it in life, just because of politics and the little moneys you receive, then I have told you today, you have one in your house.

If you understand the Twi language very well, I have told you, if you are a fool”, he said.

Attempts to get Mr. Kwesi Twum to respond to the damning claims against him proved futile. People well-connected to him have revealed to The Herald that he does not use a mobile phone and that he could only be gotten in the office.
