Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency Kennedy Ohene Agyapong says not only is the ‘1-district, 1-factory’ policy of his party feasible and doable but also given the resources of Ghana four factories per district is doable.

He said corruption is what has made Ghana bereft of resources for such ambitious policies.

The maverick politician made this known on Saturday, November 5 at the campaign launch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bawku Central Constituency.

He said two assets of the current Member of Parliament alone can construct the Bolgatanga-Bawku road.

He also challenged the MPs of the six constituencies along the Bolgatanga-Bawku road to pool resources together to construct their “disgraceful” road.

He accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of killing businesses, people and relationships.

He added that with SADA failing the people in Bawku, he will personally supervise the implementation of mechanized agriculture to improve the lives of farmers in the dry season.

The businessman-cum-politician, therefore, urged the people to use their thumb to get rid of the NDC. He promised sponsoring 10 junior high school leavers in the Constituency to senior high schools.

NPP’s parliamentary candidate Gabiana Agbanwa urged the constituents to vote for change in the upcoming elections.

She said Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has the magic wand to change the lives of the people.
