After his nomination, Nana Nti I met elders of his family before he was presented to the Gyaasehene of the area who by custom must present the Ankobeahene to the chief of the area for the final enstoolment rites.

At the palace of the chief of Kenten, Nana Nti I was made to swear the oath of allegiance to chief after which he was again led to the Gyaasehene’s palace.

From the Gyaasehene’s palace, Nana Nti I was then carried shoulder high through the town before he finally sat in state to receive homage from family elders, relatives and well wishers.

Truck load of relatives and admirers trooped from far and near to witness the historic event. Other prominent business men and women, the clergy, educationists, assembly members, chiefs and queens also graced the occasion.

Kenten is a small farming and trading community and about one mile from Techiman. Nana Nti I is married to Madam Akosua Nyarko with five children.
