Kenyan Parliamentary delegation on visit to Ghana

Accra, Dec.15, GNA- A six-member Parliamentary delegation from the Constitutional Review Commission of Kenya on Monday arrived in Accra on a five-day official visit. The delegation, led by Dr Muhammad Swazurai, Head of the Commission would study and consult with relevant institutions and people on constitutional and legislative policy. They would also find out about practical steps being taken with regard to the implementation of the 1992 Constitution in Ghana.

The delegation would pay courtesy call on personalities including, the Speaker, Mr Peter Ala Adjetey, Leadership of Parliament, Mr Jusitce George Kingsley Acquah, Chief Justice, Mr Justice Kweku Etrew Amua-Sekyi, Chairman of the National Reconciliation Commission (NRC), Mr Joseph Henry Mensah, the Senior Minister and Mr Kwadwo Adjei Darko, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development. 15 Dec. 03
