Ketu North MP speaks on vetting committee chaos and appointment revocations

The Member of Parliament for Ketu North constituency, Edem Agbana has addressed the recent chaos surrounding the vetting committee and the revocation of certain appointments.

Speaking on the issue with GhanaWeb TV's George Ayisi in Parliament, the MP highlighted concerns about procedural irregularities and tensions that erupted during the vetting process.

He noted that the controversy stems from disputes over certain nominees, leading to heated debates.

Edem Agbana emphasized the need for transparency, adherence to due process, and consensus-building in the appointment process to avoid future conflicts.

While calling for calm, the MP urged all stakeholders to work together to uphold democratic principles and ensure fair vetting procedures moving forward.
