MCE for Ketu North Anthony Avorgbedor with some of the beneficiaries
The Social Welfare Department in collaboration with the Municipal Assembly presented different items to persons with disabilities at the social welfare common hall on Saturday.
The presentations which were headed by the Municipal Chief Executive Anthony Avorgbedor and the Director at the Social Welfare Department handed over items such as tricycles, motorbikes, wheel chairs, wooden seats, computers, grain mills, as well as provisions, selling containers, mobile phones with credit cards among others; to fifteen (15) beneficiaries.
The items were secured based on the request of the beneficiaries, preferentially. This is the 2nd batch benefiting from the 3% increment of the common funds allocated to PWD.
