Kingdom books and stationery donates to NUGS

Kingdom Books and Stationery, a leading partner in Education has made a donation worth GH¢ 48,000 to the National Union of Ghana Students. The items included executive office tables and chair, visitors chairs, printers, office shelves, stationery among others.

The leadership of NUGS took delivery of the items on Friday, 6th July, 2018 at the Ministry of Education, The move is aimed at equipping the National Secretariat of the largest civil society group in the country to enhance proper administrative business at the student front.

Receiving the items on behalf of NUGS, the Minister of Education, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh commended the Management of Kingdom Books and Stationery for their timely support to NUGS. He was optimistic that the gesture will go a long way to promote efficiency and effectiveness at the Student front.

"Anything that bothers on education is very dear to my heart. I, therefore, on behalf of NUGS, commend you for showing commitment towards the students of Ghana. I am very confident these stationery will enhance the delivery of work and our engagement with NUGS and I am very delighted to be a part of this story. I am certain that with your support we will achieve the SDGs goal 4; an all-inclusive and equitable access to quality education by 2030"

For their part, Kingdom Books and Stationery pledged their unflinching and overwhelming support towards the Educational sector in Ghana. They seized the opportunity to encourage the leadership of NUGS to make good use of the items for the general benefit of all.

"We at Kingdom Books and Stationery have over the years shown solidarity and we again pledge our unflinching support towards the development of Education in our beloved country. We urge the leadership of NUGS to make good use of these items to ensure that the students of Ghana benefit from their Education"

The President of NUGS, Elisha Oheneba Essumang was thankful to Kingdom Books and Stationery for coming to the aid of the Union in refurbishing its Secretariat and promised to make good use of the items to benefit Ghanaian Students.

"On behalf of the NEC of NUGS and on my own behalf, I am extremely thankful for coming to our aid. I deem this donation as a dream come through in fulfilling a campaign promise of establishing a proper administrative secretariat that would advocate for the ordinary Ghanaian Student". We affirm to make good use of these materials and I pray that the good Lord continue to bless Kingdom Books and Stationery he added.
