RICHARD NYAMAH was born in Tishigu in Tamale on 6th July 1978. His Dad hails from the Northern Region, and the Mum from the Upper West Region. He had his primary education in the Upper East Region and attended training college in the Northern Region.

Due to his diverse ethnic background, Richard speaks eight major Ghanaian languages, namely; Twi, Dagbani, Frafra, Gonja, Nchumuru, Wali, Dagari and Fante. He is fluent in Hausa as well.

He did his first degree in political science at the University of Ghana from 2000-2003, and was a teaching assistant till 2004 at the Department of Political Science. In 2005, He returned from the UK and pursued his master’s degree also in political science. He was taken on as a graduate assistant. But, before he could be confirmed as a lecturer, he had a teaching offer from Barnfield South Academy in Luton, UK.

Richard Nyamah returned from the UK to settle in Ghana after the 2008 elections. This was in line with his vow to come back and play his part in ensuring that Nana Akufo-Addo gets elected in future election. In pursuance of seeking social, political and economic justice for his fellow countrymen and women, he formed the Progressive Nationalist Forum (PNF) in April 2009 to fight corruption in the Mills/Mahama administration. "Muntaka" and "Ayariga" are few of the cases that he dealt with. The benevolent spirit of Nana Addo saw to it that his NGO (PNF) got registered. He has been around for some time now.

Subsequently, Richard Nyamah took chairmanship of the Young Patriots and used covert and overt means such as distribution of campaign communication/propaganda materials and organizing demonstrations against the government. These demonstrations - under his leadership of the Young Patriots - took place across the country including the three northern regions. He spearheaded the "Tahir Square" demonstration after the 2012 elections, and prior to the historical election petition.

Richard Nyamah is very hardworking, intelligent, experienced, affable, but fearless and courageous, and loyal and dedicated to the cause of the NPP. He is politically astute! With his conscience and moral uprightness, he stands out as an uncompromising candidate who can never be induced!

He is the surest and the best candidate among the rest to lead the NPP Youth for political victory in 2016!

**Look out for Richard Nyamah's vision and results-oriented action plan for the NPP Youth towards 2016, in subsequent piece.
