The National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams says he has already made up his mind to go to court, although his cars that were seized by national security operatives have been released.
“I am not speaking on the issue after the release of the vehicles because I am going to court,” Mr. Adams maintained.
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service on Thursday released five vehicles that were impounded.
The vehicles, two Toyota Land Cruiser V8s and three Nissan Hard Body Pick-ups, were seized from the politician’s house in Tema following allegations that some officials of the immediate past NDC government had stolen state vehicles.
The Public Relations Officer of the CID, ASP Joseph Benefo Darkwah confirmed that the vehicles have been released after the CID discovered that they were Mr. Adams’ personal vehicles. But speaking in a telephone interview with Onua News, Mr. Adams said “I am going to court on various levels of the issue.
Issues like defamation, criminal invasions of my house and stealing of some of my things in the cars”. He asserted we are preparing “so I don’t want to make comments now”.
