The Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) will from next February, start running three programmes in ICT for the Ghanaian public.
These are post-Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing, Diploma in Web Technology and Business Computing and a Certificate Course in Computing.
The programmes are designed to equip prospective students with all the necessary practical skills to easily fit into the local market without the need for on-the-job training.
Ms. Dorothy K. Gordon, Director-General of the Centre, disclosed these yesterday to the media at a press briefing in Accra.
Mr. Gordon said the contents of the programme had been developed to cater for the needs of both the local and international markets.
