The Porcupine Warriors striker has revealed his target ahead of his second season with the Kumasi-based side
Asante Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed has revealed that he is aiming to improve on his performance to score more goals and win the top scorer award in the upcoming season.
The 18-year-old joined the Porcupines last term and instantly became a hit, finishing as the club's second top scorer with eight goals behind Amed Toure.
“Amed Toure is no more, so definitely the work load is now on me since I was the highest scorer after him but I'm prepared for the task ahead,” Mohammed told Goal.
“I want to score as many goals I can to win the top scorer award and help Kotoko win the league title.
“In Toure’s absence, there is Obed Owusu whom I played with in many games last season. He is strong and very good in the air and with our cohesion in the preseason friendlies, I foresee an enviable partnership between us in the league,” he added.
Kotoko will open their season's account with a visit to Sogakope to face Wafa before playing Ashantigold and Medeama at home in week two and three fixtures respectively.
