Kumasi Asante Kotoko have fired head coach Zdravko Logarusic.
The termination followed Kotoko’s 0-0 result against Ebusua Dwarfs on match day 11 of the 2016/17 Premier League.
“Zdravko’s contract has been terminated. He has accepted the official notification given to him. Assistant coach Godwin Ablordey will train with the team until further notice,” Head of Communications Obed Acheampong announced on the club’s website.
The Croatian coach was engaged by Kotoko on January 10, 2017, beginning work on January 12. He led the Porcupine Warriors in 11 league matches in which he won five, drew four and lost two.
His tactics came under strong scrutiny and criticisms from fans, especially for his 3-5-2 formation.
