John Kufuor, the president of Ghana, looks set to win four more years in office as partial results give him a clear lead in a presidential poll, local radio said, citing electoral officials around the country.
Kufuor, credited with overseeing four years of economic stability in the world's number two cocoa grower, has reportedly won 57% of the vote with ballots in 105 out of 230 constituencies counted, local radio in Accra said.
The reports are based on results gathered from around the West African country.
