Kufuor leaves for Freetown tomorrow

President Kufuor informed parliament that he would leave Accra for Freetown, Sierra Leone tomorrow to attend the inauguration of President Ernest Bai Koromah.

Mr Koromah was sworn in as President on September 18, 2007, shortly after being declared winner of a tense run-off election, where he was the opposition leader with 54.6 per cent of the final vote against Vice-President Solomon Berewa's 45.4 per cent.

President Kufuor also said he would be attending the NEPAD Head of States Summit in Dakar, Senegal from November 21 to 22, 2007 and continue to Kampala, Uganda to attend the Commonwealth Head of States Summit from November 23 to 26, 2007.
