It said the transposer would restore television transmission to the Nzema area as part of the on-going major rehabilitation of the GBC transmission sites in the country.

The project on completion is expected to improve television coverage from 60 to 90 per cent nationwide.

The statement said President Kufuor would also address durbars of the chiefs and people of Axim, Elubo, Enchi, Sefwi-Wiawso, Juabeso, Asankragwa and Wassa-Akropong.

President Kufuor is expected back in Accra on Thursday, August 19.
