Convener for Coalition for Social Justice and National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has explained that they will soon hit the Northern and Ashanti regions with their series of 'Kum Yen Preko' demonstration.
According to him, they will not end with the Accra demonstration because the hardship Ghanaians are facing is a national crises.
Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he added that the demonstration which was successful indicates that Ghanaians are fed up with the NPP government and will show them the exit come 2020.
The demonstration attracted people from all walks of life who have been affected by the hardship unleashed on them by the Akufo-Addo led government.
"Though the demonstration was organized by the CSJ, we are convinced that Ghanaians are fed up and they want us to replicate same in their regions," he said.
The 'Kum Yen Preko' demonstration which was held on Tuesday, 9th July, 2019, according to the Coalition for Social Justice (CSJ) was against what they described as hardship, insecurity, and oppression being experienced under the current Akufo-Addo administration.
Ahead of the demonstration, the Convener of CSJ, Sammy Gyamfi who is also the National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in an interview said the demonstration will be epic and will send a strong signal to the Akufo0-Addo government.
