Mr. Kwame Tawiah has tongue-lashed the managing editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako, for making unnecessary noise about Mr. Woyome on radio and has urged him to avail himself in court often to broaden his knowledge on ‘the controversial’ issues surrounding Mr. Woyome.

Mr. Tawiah explained that Mr. Baako together with other ‘ignorant’ people often challenged vital projects Mr. Woyome has carried out in the nation and dented his integrity.

“People deliberately refuse to believe that Mr. Woyome in his own capacity has gone in for monies to commence projects in the country,” he said.

According to Mr. Tawiah, it would have been beneficial to Mr. Baako if he were in court yesterday to hear for himself that “Mr. Woyome went to the Bank Austral and brought home 1.2 billion Euros...Alfred Agbesi Woyome together with a government official and Mrs Dodoo (the legal Director and Board Secretary of the Public Procurement Authority) traveled to Bank Austral to obtain monies which was used to establish the Begoro, Gushegu and Sogakope hospitals.”

Speaking in an interview with Okay FM, Mr. Woyome’s public relations officer noted that it was so sad to hear people vilify his boss when there were landmarks to attest that he has contributed his quota to the development of the nation.

“People have tarnished his image for no reason and we thank God events which unfolded at the court showed that there was a concurrent approval…per the concurrent approval, we know we have a strong case which would ensure we prevail”.

“I was hoping that the likes of Kweku Baako and the others would have been in court to learn the education which was going on. He should know that it is meaningless to make unnecessary noise on the radio. It is proper to ask others to teach you when there is something about the law you don’t understand,” he underscored.
