Kwesi Appiah waps up Europe tour
Black Stars head coach Kwasi Appiah is expected to end his two-week overseas scouting on Friday and arrive in Ghana on Saturday ahead of the next Black Stars squad announcement next week.
The 58 year old has been touring Europe together with his assistant Ibrahim Tanko to check up on Ghanaian players abroad.
According to Ghanacrusader.com’s sources, Appiah made a first stop in Italy where he paid a visit to Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan who could be making a return to the Black Stars squad for the first time after several months of absence.
He also visited a host of Ghanaian players playing in the Spanish La Liga whiles his Ibrahim Tanko took care of those in Belgium League.
It is understood that, Appiah who is currently in Turkey (at the time of filing this report) will wrap up his visitations on Friday ahead of his return to Ghana on Saturday where he would meet with his technical team for the announcement of the next Black Stars squad to face the Harambee Stars of Kenya on March 23.
