LA LADIES FINED 100,000 CEDIS FOR MISCONDUCT

Accra, Jan. 29, La Ladies f/c has been fined 100,000 cedis by the Greater Accra Football Association (GAFA) for misconduct on the part of their officials and supporters during the Regional Women Soccer Committee (GASOC) knockout finals against Poscom in Tema last December nine. The club is to sign a bond of good behaviour for the rest of the season. A GAFA statement released in Accra today said in addition, Mr D.K. Mensah, vice chairman of the club has been banned indefinitely from matches played under the jurisdiction of the RFA "for inciting the officials and supporters to misconduct themselves." Dora Zutah, a player of the club, received a 12 month ban for complicity. Mr J.K. Adowah, a retired referee, was assaulted in the incident.
