LEC Foundation gears up to host Success Africa

LEC Foundation gears up to host Success Africa 2013 in Ghana, Liberia and

Nigeria.

LEC Foundation is a youth organization committed to raising the next

generation of leaders and entrepreneurs.

For the past 6years the organization do organize a series of leadership and

career development seminars for tertiary students and shs students, Popular

among them is the Success Africa Conference. Success Conference was organized

for the first time in the year 2007 , the aim of the conference is to empower

young people to achieve their set goals and ambitions. Resources Persons are

invited to talk on issues of Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Career

Development. University of Cape Coast hosted the first edition, last year the

conference travelled to 20 tertiary campuses with about 50 resource persons.

This year will mark the 7th Edition of Africa Young Leaders and

entrepreneurs summit which will be hosted in Ghana , Nigeria and Liberia.

Success Africa 2013 is under the theme; defying all odds and resource

persons include KSM, Obafemi Banigbe of Tigo,Dr. Frank Adu of CAL Bank, Dr.

Stephen Enchill of First Capital Plus among others and the Convener will be the

Founder and Chairman of LEC Foundation –Mr. Albert Kusi

Success Africa 2013 will be hosted in four institutions namely University of

Ghana -5th October, 2013

University of Mines and Technology (UMAT)- 12th October,2013 ,KNUST-(19th

October,2013) and the University of Cape Coast on the 26th October,2013. Then

to Nigeria on 2nd November and Liberia on the 8th of November.

In our quest to reduce graduate unemployment, LEC Foundation believes a

platform like this will enable young people to discover themselves, also get

the opportunity to be mentored and coached in their quest to start and manage

their own businesses.

Some renowned Personalities will be honoured with the Leadership and the

Entrepreneurship Gold Award as recognition of their unique achievements in

their field of endeavor.
