The Pharoahs have six points from their opening two games and coach Aguirre will hope to finish top of the group.
Like Egypt, Madagascar are unbeaten in the AFCON, having won one and drew their opening two matches.
A victory over Egypt will make them leaders of the group which means they could avoid some of the continent’s big names in the next stage.
Uganda and Egypt have kept clean sheets in three of their last four games, respectively so it will be interesting to see to how the defenders will keep their shape in this game.
Today’s game mark the 21st meeting between the nations, with Egypt claiming 15 victories in comparison to just two for Uganda.
However, while Egypt have lost just once in their last 17 matches,that defeat - by a 1-0 scoreline - came as recently as August 2017.
The other Group A game is between Zimbabwe and DR Congo.
