The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, is holding a lecture dubbed “Speaker’s Seminal Lecture” at the University of Development Studies, Tamale, in the Northern Region.
The seminal lecture, which is on the topic “Working Together, Building Trust for Free, Fair, Credible and Peaceful Elections: The Role of Stakeholders,” is expected to touch on issues about the upcoming December 7, 2024, general election.
Speaker Bagbin is expected to make a presentation at the lecture in addition to other speakers, including Prof. Kwesi Aning, a former Director of the Faculty of Academic Affairs & Research at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, and Kofi Bentil, a vice president of IMANI Africa.
