The Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, is holding a press conference on national issues today, Friday, July 18, 2025.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu announced the press briefing in a post shared on X on Friday.
The minister, who doubles as the spokesperson to the President, indicated that he was going to address issues relating to the National Cathedral of Ghana project.
“I will hold a press briefing at 4 pm on the National Cathedral and matters arising. Stay tuned,” his post reads.
The presser follows criticisms of the John Dramani Mahama government on the National Cathedral project.
A faction of the public, mainly proponents of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has been calling out the government over what they have described as the silence of the government on the project.
They say that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), when they were in opposition, castigated the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government over the project, but have done nothing to prosecute the cause of misappropriated funds for the project.
