LIVESTREAMED: Minority Caucus return to Parliament after announcing boycott

Members of Ghana’s Parliament return to the House on Friday, May 30, 2025, for a sitting.

Members of the Minority Caucus have been captured on the floor of the House, following their announced boycott of sittings and subsequent walkout over the continued detention of the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi).

The MPs are expected to touch on the detention of Wontumi, who is still in the custody of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), having failed to meet his bail conditions.

The House will also be discussing the business statement for the coming week.
