The one-week observation of Asantehemaa Nana Konadu Yiadom III is currently ongoing at the Manhyia Palace on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
The event, hosted by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, brings together dignitaries from various traditional leaders across the country to mourn the revered queen mother.
To enhance security, the Ashanti Regional Police Command has deployed approximately 500 officers to ensure maximum security.
The Asanteman Council has barred attendees from wearing indecent attire as they gather to grieve the deceased.
Nana Konadu Yiadom III passed away at the age of 98, having reigned for eight years.
