The Electoral Commission is currently holding a press conference to address issues regarding Thursday's violent clashes that occurred at the Bawaleshie polling centre during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-elections.
The Commission's Chair, Jean Mensa is clearing the air about some concerns.
She among other things has stated that the electoral process was peaceful and successful.
According to her, the shootings happened close to the polling station but not on the grounds where voting was being done.
She also has maintained that the EC is satisfied with services of security around all the more than 130 polling stations in the capital.
