Ghana's most controversial Sports Presenter Patrick Osei Agyemang has described the captain of Black Stars as a very disrespectful player.

Asamoah Gyan missed his kick on his return to penalty taking duties for Ghana in their 2-1 defeat to USA on Saturday night.

The Black Stars captain who had abstained from taking penalty kicks for Ghana in honouring a pledge to his late mother following crucial misses surprisingly stepped up to take the kick after Frank Acheampong had been fouled in the box late in the first half.

Gyan’s poorly taken kick was saved by Brad Guzan to preserve USA’s 1-0 lead at the time on the stroke of halftime.

The 31-year-old who has been Ghana’s most reliable source of goals, had missed similar crucial kicks at the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations prompting his decision not to take penalties in open play for the national team.

According to Gyan, this is a pledge he made to his mother who died five years ago in a car crash.

The former Sunderland ace seems to have broken this vow by stepping up to the take the penalty against USA but missed much to the dismay of many.

Patrick Osei Agyemang also said that the Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah is worried likewise the GFA who are irresponsible.
